Richard provides advisory support on the design and operationalisation of ESG risk frameworks for CRO, Board and Group Executive clients.
He specialises in risk transformation, risk target operating model design and process automation. He has deep experience in designing, implementing and reviewing risk frameworks with over 20 years of strategic and regulatory change expertise in London, Singapore and Sydney in both banking and management consulting roles.
Richard has led multiple CPS 220 triennial reviews for Major Australian Banks and has been actively involved in the review and assessment of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) frameworks, policies and procedures. Richard was a contributing author in KPMG’s response to APRA’s CPG 229 Climate Change Financial Risks consultation process.
Prior to KPMG Richard worked for an international management consulting firm, providing risk strategy advisory to leading banks and insurers, and a major investment bank in Singapore where he led global group-wide risk, strategic and regulatory change programs.
